![]() ![]() The repvfy.bat file has a hardcoded pointer to the ORACLE_HOME environment variable. ![]() On UNIX only, make sure the repvfy script is executable.Note: The directory where you unzipped the EMDIAG REPVFY Kit will be referred as in this document. If you cannot use the name emdiag or EMDIAG for any reason, you will need to set the environment variable EMDIAG_HOME before running any repvfy command. IMPORTANT: If you unzip the file repvfyYYYYMMDD.zip in another directory (like $ORACLE_BASE/repvfy for example), some repvfy commands may fail to run. $ unzip repvfyYYYYMMDD.zip -d $ORACLE_BASE/emdiag Therefore we highly recommend that you unzip the file repvfyYYYYMMDD.zip in the directory $ORACLE_BASE/emdiag or $ORACLE_BASE/EMDIAG: REPVFY will run the appropriate commands against the correct repository based on the environment variables ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID (this last one is used for the DB Control Repository). If you have several Grid Control and/or DB Control repositories installed and running in different databases in one or several ORACLE_HOMEs, you need to install the REPVFY binaries only once. Unzip the file repvfyYYYYMMDD.zip in a directory or sub directory EMDIAG or emdiag.Download the EMDIAG REPVFY Kit Release 2010.1006 on the node where the Grid Control and/or DB Control Repository is installed from here. ![]()
